When you are sincerely grateful for the things you currently have in your life, then your mind tends to focus on those things. You will begin to change your mindset to a positive more enthusiastic outlook on what you already have. What you focus on most is what you will see the majority of the time. If you think of all the things that are going or have gone wrong in your life, you usually tend to focus only on what is wrong. When you begin to focus your thoughts and emotions on what you are sincerely thankful for, you place yourself in a position to see more positive circumstances in your life. You place yourself in the position of being able to take advantage of the opportunities that will move you in the direction of what is is you want in life.
