What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction explains how our attitudes and thoughts work to manifest the things we focus on. Whether we focus on positive things or negative things, we draw the same unto us. Like Attracts Like; fairly straight forward isn’t it?

The thing to understand is that whether you believe it or not, The Law of Attraction is at work for you right now. You don’t have a choice, there is no pause or stop, you can’t rewind, it is an ongoing process in operation 24 hours a day. The Law of Attraction is also one of the primary reasons you should try to escape the mind.

mindfulness and you

mindfulness is awareness of the now.

It may come as a rather obvious revelation, nonetheless, your mind does not control you.

You are the boss of your own mind.

Do you believe me?

Simply,  it’s achieved through a state of mindfulness.

Maen Llia Standing Stone Wales UKMaen Llia Standing Stone

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting the Maen Llia Standing Stone in Wales within the Brecon Beacons National Park.  Its size of around 4 metres out of the ground is awe inspiring.

To think of our ancestors thousands of years ago standing in that same spot.  Aside from marvelling at its size and ‘old energy’ vibration, I collected a small rock laying in the grass near its base. I thought it would make a good rock to hold while meditating. Continue reading »

Have you tried meditation yet?

Meditation is the practice of allowing the mind to come to rest. It is the process of allowing the day to day conscious mind to relinquish its agitation, aggression, fear and anxiety and for the mind to slow down and be still. It does not involve linear thinking or competition with others.

Meditation = Calm

Allowing the mind to slow down and be at peace for a moment in time will relieve tension and mental conflict.

The mind will flourish when given the time to be free of the impulsive analysis that dominates modern thinking patterns. Continue reading »
